Nope, not at all. We work with everyone from complete beginners to competitive athletes. Our coaches are really good at meeting you where you're at and building from there. First session's always about learning your movement patterns and finding what works for your body.

Yeah, for sure. We offer a free intro session where you can check out the facility, meet some coaches, and see if our vibe matches what you're looking for. No pressure, no sales pitch - just an honest look at what we do here.

Just wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a water bottle. We've got everything else covered - barbells, plates, chalk, you name it. If you've got weightlifting shoes or wrist wraps, bring 'em, but they're definitely not required. Most people train in regular athletic shoes at first.

Group classes run about 60 minutes. Personal training sessions are usually 60-90 minutes depending on your program. We don't rush things - strength training done right takes time, and we'd rather you learn proper technique than just burn through exercises.

Yep, we've got clean shower facilities and changing rooms. There's also lockers you can use during your session - just bring your own lock. We keep the place pretty clean, and there's always soap and towels available.

We ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Life happens, we get it, but our coaches plan their time around your sessions. Less than 24 hours and you'll lose that session credit. For memberships, we need 30 days written notice if you need to cancel.

Yeah, nutrition's a big part of getting stronger. We've got certified nutrition coaches who work with you on meal planning, macros, and building habits that actually stick. It's not about crazy diets - more about fueling your training and feeling good day to day.

Street parking's pretty easy to find on Commercial Drive, especially outside rush hour. There's also a paid lot about a block away if you prefer that. Lots of people bike here too - we've got a spot to lock up your ride safely.
